Shoutout to Compute Cluster, a new project on CDS this semester! 🎉 Compute Cluster is a system that links multiple nodes so users can log in, schedule jobs, access shared storage, and run computations in parallel. It makes high-performance computing accessible by pooling resources that would be too costly for any single user. We’re super excited to see what they achieve 😊❤️

Join CDS and Dr. Zachi Attia, the Director of AI at Mayo Clinic for an insightful tech talk on how AI technologies are being applied in the healthcare space on Friday, November 14th from 4:00-5:00 PM!
Dr. Attia leads one of the most advanced medical AI research initiatives in the world, researching and deploying cutting-edge AI systems to predict cardiovascular diseases. His groundbreaking work, including AI-enabled detection of atrial fibrillation and cardiac dysfunction has been published in The Lancet and Nature Medicine, and his research has impacted hundreds of thousands of real patients. His talk will share how machine learning models are being deployed reshaping the way physicians can detect, predict, and treat disease — from ECG-based deep learning diagnostics to real-time clinical decision support.
