🍎✨ Another successful year at Apple Fest!

Our TST Adult Education team hosted a booth all weekend long, with more than 20 of our amazing ESL students volunteering their time to connect with the community. Visitors took on the challenge of solving a sample GED math question for the chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card 🎉

We’ve been living, breathing, and sleeping CDL here at TST Adult Ed these past few weeks 👀 Ancora Education, our business partner, is hiring a CDL Program Instructor for the 4-week Commercial Driver’s License course we just launched!

📍 Tompkins Cortland Community College
🕘 Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
🗓️ New student cohorts start every 4 weeks
💼 Full-time role with salary of $60,000 to $65,000 plus benefits

This is a great opportunity for a CDL Class A driver who’s ready to step into the instructor role and support adult learners in our region. 👨‍🏫

🎉 Congratulations to our 16 ESL students who have successfully earned their ServSafe Food Handler certification! 🍽️

This nationally recognized credential from the National Restaurant Association demonstrates their knowledge of essential food safety practices including proper hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, time and temperature control, and sanitation procedures. ✅🧼⏱️

With the guidance and support of instructor Gavin Donohoe, each student completed the training and passed the assessment. We're so proud of them! 👏
