The Einaudi Center has helped students and scholars cross borders of language, culture, nationality, and academic discipline for more than half a century. Today Cornell is one of the most international universities in the world. We house Cornell’s well-established area studies programs (covering Africa, Europe, East Asia, Latin America, South Asia, and Southeast Asia), as well as thematic programs about peace and conflict and contemporary Islam.

After fleeing Turkey in 2016, Azat Gündoğan found support from Global Cornell and the Institute of International Education (IIE) that led him to become a professor at Florida State University.
