There’s nothing quite like seeing children light up as they share their world. Our day was filled with collaboration, independence, and authentic learning experiences—just the way Montessori intended. We are so grateful for the community that makes days like this so special!

All of our teachers and administrators had the incredible opportunity to attend the NYAEYC 2026 Conference for the last three days and we’re coming back inspired, energized, and full of fresh ideas.
Experiences like this do more than build knowledge—they reignite passion, strengthen our sense of purpose, and remind us why this work matters so deeply. When teachers are nurtured, supported, and connected to a larger community, that energy flows directly back into the classroom.
We’re excited to bring new strategies, deeper insight, and renewed spirit to the children and families we serve every day.
A heartfelt thank you to our school families for supporting us—especially during the three days we were closed—so our team could learn and grow together. Your partnership makes opportunities like this possible.
Here’s to lifelong learning, growing together, and continuing to do meaningful work for the children in our care.

In our Montessori classroom, learning looks like care in action.
This is not an activity directed by an adult; it’s a choice made by the child.
Foot washing is a "grace and courtesy lesson" that is presented to the children, the supplies are made available on the shelf, and children may choose it whenever they feel called to care for themselves or for a friend. Whether it’s after time in the sandbox or simply a quiet moment during the day, the child leads the work.
By choosing this activity, children practice sequencing, coordination, and focus while engaging deeply in empathy, respect, and kindness. When a child chooses to care for another, it becomes even more meaningful—strengthening friendships and building a strong sense of community.
These are the moments that show what Montessori looks like in practice: independence, compassion, and purposeful work—chosen freely.
If you’re exploring a learning environment that honors your child’s autonomy while nurturing social‑emotional growth, we would love to connect and share more about our program. Schedule a time to visit and see our classrooms in action.
