We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team!

Position: Assistant Teacher
Location: Downtown Ithaca Children's Center
Start Date: asap

Responsibilities

* support the lead teacher in planning and implementing g classroom activities.
* Assist with classroom management and student supervision.
*Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
* Provide one-on-one support to students when needed.
* Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom organization.

Requirements.
* passion for working with children and supporting their development.
* strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Previous experience in a classroom or childcare setting preferred.

We are helping with a statewide effort to better understand what family engagement should look like for families in New York. As part of this work, parents are being invited to share their experiences and ideas through a short survey.
