Post-grad, Miranda will be attending Yale School of the Environment where she will study Water Resource Science and Management. Congrats Miranda, we are so proud of you!

Join us in celebrating Dr. Charlotte Logan (Akwesasne Mohawk)! Charlotte has graduated with a PhD in Linguistics, with a minor in American Indian & Indigenous Studies! Post-grad, Charlotte is looking forward to working with elder speakers within the Haudenosaunee community and learning as much as she can from them in the days ahead. She will also be a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto! Congratulations Charlotte!!!

Join us in celebrating Dr. Aspen K.B. Omapang (Descendent of Filipino Kamaʻāina, Hawai’i Island)! Aspen has graduated with a PhD in Information Science, with a concentration in Social Aspects of Information and a minor in Science and Technology Studies! Post-grad, Aspen will begin her role as an Incoming Assistant Professor of Environmental Justice in the Information Science Department at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She also holds a community role as the Director of Information and Data Strategy at Hoʻāla Kealakekua Nui, a lineal-descendent-led non-profit in Kapalilua (South Kona, Hawai’i Island). Congrats Aspen, we are so proud!!!

Join us in celebrating Dr. Sarah LaVoy-Brunette (White Earth Ojibwe)! Sarah has graduated with her PhD in Medieval Studies, with a minor in American Indian & Indigenous Studies! Post-graduation, Sarah is looking forward to spending lots of time hiking, swimming, and recovering from PhD life. Congrats Sarah!

Join us in celebrating Dr. Savanah Dale (Cherokee)! Savanah has graduated with a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics, with a concentration in Plant Genetics and two minors in Entomology and Plant Biology! Post-graduation, Savanah is excited for her future as faculty at a primarily undergraduate university, and she is excited to pursue her passion of teaching and mentoring undergraduate students with a research program focused on underutilized crops native to North America.

Join us in celebrating Kaylah Kuʻuahulili Toves (Kānaka ʻŌiwi/Acoma Pueblo)! Kaylah has graduated with a major in Government/American Studies, a concentration in Education, and minors in American Indian & Indigenous Studies, Law & Society, and Inequality Studies! After graduation, Kaylah hopes to continue working at the intersection of law, policy, and Indigenous education and hopes to return to D.C. in the winter. Congrats Kaylah, we are so excited to see your next steps!

Join us in congratulating Rowan Lopez (Salvadoran Pipil)! Rowan has graduated with a major in Biological Sciences, a concentration in Marine Biology, and a minor in American Indian and Indigenous Studies! Post-grad, Rowan is excited to continue his research journey. He hopes to pursue a PhD in Evolutionary Development while continuing work to educate future generations in science and research careers. Join us in celebrating Manuel Cortes Romero (Honduran Lenca)! Manuel has graduated with a major in Animal science, a concentration in Applied Animal Biology, and a minor in Infectious Disease! Post-graduation, Manuel will be a graduate student in the Master of Laboratory Animal Science degree program at Stanford University in the Department of Comparative Medicine. He hopes to enroll straight into veterinary school after his masters. Congrats Manuel, we are so proud!

Today we celebrate Caroline Storm Grove (Chickasaw)! Caroline has graduated with a major in Environment and Sustainability, a concentration in Environmental Policy and Governance, and minors in International Relations and Law & Society! Post-grad, she will be working at the International Food Policy Research Insitute and then applying to graduate school! Congrats Caroline, we are so excited to see your next steps!

Join us in congratulating Krissia Tuzroyluk (Iñupiaq and Unangax̂)! Krissia has graduated with a major in Applied Economics and Management, a concentration in Finance, and minors in American Indian and Indigenous Studies and Real Estate! Post-grad, Krissia will return home this summer to intern with the First Alaskans Institute. She will attend the 2026 Inuit Circumpolar Council General Assembly in Iqaluit, Canada as part of her fellowship with the Caleb Scholars Program. Additionally, she is a 2026 UNITY 25 Under 25 Native Youth Leadership Award honoree and looks forward to working with the program’s seventh class of youth leaders. Drawing on her education, she plans to focus her career on ensuring Indigenous communities are prioritized in access to affordable housing and substance abuse treatment in her home state of Alaska. Congrats Krissia, we are so proud of you!!
