Lots of varied training this week in Ithaca.
Studying classical Japanese combative traditions - Shinto Muso Ryu Jo and ancillary arts. Swordsmanship is also taught as part of this system. Bieri.
We are a group based in Ithaca, New York studying Shinto Muso Ryu Jo - a 400 year old Japanese martial tradition focused on use of the jo, a four foot long staff. This art was studied by feudal-era law enforcement officers in certain parts of Japan.
