Cornell is hosting its first annual 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒-𝟏𝟔, and is looking forward to welcoming all volunteers back to campus. These three days will include university leadership updates, faculty spotlights, and opportunities to strengthen your connections with each other and Cornell. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 (𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐-𝟔)⁣
Cornell's inaugural Global Careers Week will connect undergraduate and graduate students with career opportunities based outside of the U.S. through a week of primarily virtual programming from November 2-6. We are seeking employers and alumni to engage students through employer presentations and networking conversations. The Cornell community in Bangalore came together on July 18 to welcome our incoming students at a wonderful Student Send-off! Despite heavy rains and a delayed start, more than 30 Cornellians turned out to celebrate the newest members of the Cornell community. The event was a great opportunity for students to connect with alumni, hear about the Cornell experience, and build connections before beginning their journey on the Hill.

On July 22, Cornellians in Australia gathered online to welcome three incoming undergraduate students to the Cornell community. The gathering brought together nine attendees, including a current Cornell student who helped make the evening especially meaningful.
A special thank-you to Jonathan Roost, who shared his firsthand experience and answered questions from the incoming students. It was a wonderful opportunity for the newest members of the Cornell community to connect with fellow Cornellians and get a glimpse of what’s ahead!

The Singapore Student Association welcomed a total of 63 attendees at a successful Student Send-off on July 18. The afternoon gave students an opportunity to meet future classmates, connect with alumni, and learn more about life at Cornell. An icebreaker helped build connections, followed by a presentation on academics and campus life, with conversations continuing over a shared meal. Alumni enthusiastically shared their experiences and advice, creating a warm and welcoming introduction to the Cornell community for the newest members of the Cornell family.

Cornellians in Argentina gathered on July 29 to welcome four new students who will be joining Cornell this fall. It was a wonderful opportunity to share personal Cornell experiences, answer questions, and offer advice as they prepare to begin this exciting new chapter. We wish our newest Cornellians an unforgettable experience and hope they make the most of everything Cornell has to offer!

The Cornell Club of Shanghai hosted a wonderful Student Send-off on July 18, welcoming newly admitted students and their families as they prepare to begin their Cornell journey. The gathering was a wonderful opportunity for students to meet future classmates, connect with Cornell alumni, and hear firsthand experiences from the Cornell community. A fantastic celebration of the newest members of the Cornell family!

On July 16, the Cornell Club of Germany - Munich Chapter hosted its annual B**r Garden Student Send-off, bringing together incoming Cornell students and members of the local Cornell community. The event was a big success and a wonderful opportunity for the incoming class to connect, celebrate, and get to know fellow Cornellians before heading to Ithaca.

On June 21, Cornellians in the UAE gathered to celebrate and welcome our incoming Cornell students at an amazing Student Send-Off event. It was a wonderful opportunity for the incoming class to connect with fellow students, alumni, and the Cornell community as they prepare to begin their journey on the Hill.
