A medium to produce independent student works that push artists and audiences to experiment outside of their comfort zones and turn ideas into art.
In response to the growing need and interest in independent works and underground theatre, Ithaca College Theatre Arts Students created a collective that allows students to propose their works, and ITC provides resources to put these projects into action. Works are theatrical and performance in nature, featuring devised pieces, student-written works, and already produced works.

RESCHEDULED 24-HOUR PLAY FESTIVAL
The Ithaca Theatre Collective has postponed the play festival to THIS WEEKEND to further involvement! Are you interested in getting the opportunity to work in a face-paced realistic working environment?
On Saturday, April 15th @ 5:30PM in Studio 6, ITC will present a collection of 10-minute plays created in the span of 24 hours by a group of student writers, directors, and actors. Tickets will be $5 at the door, and all proceeds go towards funding ITC student productions.
WRITERS: Come hang out at the Sandlot Friday night and write some awesome art and eat amazing FREE pizza! All writers will come together to write short plays and coordinate with directors and actors to perform it within 24 hours!!!
DIRECTORS: Don’t want to commit to directing a full play or hit musical? Here’s your chance! Meet with your designated writer to get their insight and have the opportunity to produce their hard work for them!
ACTORS: Not doing anything for a few hours this Saturday? Why not get some more practice in your craft? You’ll have the chance to work with your peers in a fast paced rehearsal scenario with immediate results!

All artists will be required to attend an introductory meeting on April 14th at 6PM. Writers will begin writing that night and they will finish by 8AM on Sunday, April 15th. Rehearsals will begin by 12:00 PM on Sunday, and rehearsals will finish by 5:00PM. General meeting and writing will occur at the Sandlot (222 South Geneva St) and the Performance will take place in Studio 6 at 5:30PM.

Come read poems, sing songs, dance, and show your original work about your childhood and your nostalgic experiences from the good ol' days! Get creative--all ideas are welcome!
