We‘re sunset cruising through October! It can get a little chilly, but the skies at this time of year are often the most clear, the sunsets gorgeous, and the fall foliage catches the light in a special, autumnal way. Our narrators share information, our boat store sells local beer, wine, popcorn and pumpkin seeds, and we even have blankets to keep you cozy, though we encourage you to come with your favourite fall fashion sweaters and fleece as well! The last of our Wednesday evening Community Sunset Cruises are starting to fill up. These "Love Your Lake" cruises are donation based and are an opportunity for Cayuga Lake watershed residents to spend some time enjoying their lake, learning a thing or two about it, and sharing their own stories. Our Trout in the Classroom Program is getting started and we've got a special cruise planned for all who are interested in this aspect of our programming. We're already starting to set up tanks in the 20+ schools around the watershed that will be participating this year. 1000s of children in our watershed will learn about trout and their Finger Lakes habitats before releasing the trout into local streams in the spring.

Please join this cruise to learn more and consider sponsoring a Trout Aquarium in a classroom this year. 23 sponsors needed at $250/tank!

Tonight begins the first of three Club Cayuga Sunset Cruises hosted by thedjdou on our boat, the resurrected Teal! Come hear DJ Dou spin his favorite Neo-soul and Afro-beat tunes, as you enjoy the lake vibes. It’s beautiful out there when the sun shines and during drizzles (with possible rainbows) 🌈 too!

We cruise rain or shine unless there is thunder or lightning predicted or it looks like two hours of a consistent steady downpour. We make our decision two hours ahead of time and will notify you if the cruise needs to be cancelled, and refund you.
