Spaces still available! We’re offering two free workshops this Saturday (9/14) in conjunction with the exhibition “Colonial Crossings: Art, Identity, and Belief in the Spanish Americas.”

You'll learn about the background and personal meaning of the small-scale devotional images known as "ex votes," made in gratitude for divine interventions, then create your own personal version in the studio. Commemorate an important life event, celebrate an achievement, or appreciate a new season. Supplies for painting and collage will be provided.

Please email eas8_at_cornell_dot_edu to register for the EITHER the morning session (10AM-12PM), open to the community, or the afternoon session (1-3PM), open to Cornell students only.

These workshops are part of the Museum’s Art and Wellness series, providing opportunities to explore hands-on, artistic self-expression and learn new skills in a friendly environment.
