Congressman Jake Ellzey launched Ellzey's Eager Readers program to encourage young Texans to build a love for reading, learning, and setting themselves up for success.

Out of 160 students at Itasca Elementary, these 4 students were awarded a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition as one of Ellzey’s Rocket Readers and completing his program. Congratulations to third grader- Isabella Izaguirre, second graders- Milo Lemons, Fisher Macon, and Kaelyn Mears! Way to go Cats!
