Working families pay as much as 17% of our income in state taxes while the richest pay just 3%. It’s time for the ultra-rich to pay what they owe. wea.mobi/newrevenue

Thank you all union members and community members in your dedicated support for students. I encourage all interested to be involved in conversations, district board meetings, and reading ISD communications in order to stay engaged in the continued work.

❤️A heartfelt thank you to our ISD community for turning out to support the renewal of the Educational Programs & Operations Levy, the Technology and Critical Repairs Levy, and the Transportation Levy.

As of the February 10, 2026 early returns, all three measures are passing. These four-year renewals will ensure continued funding for our students, staff, schools, and broader community as the current levies sunset.

Because state funding does not fully cover the cost of education, local levy dollars play a critical role in bridging that gap here in Issaquah and in districts across Washington.

We invite our community to stay engaged! Our students inspire us every day, and there are so many ways to be involved—volunteer in your school, join your local PTA, connect with the Issaquah Schools Foundation, or attend a school board meeting. Together, we strengthen our schools. 🍎🚌💻
