Would you like to get more involved in supporting our families and staff, but don’t have a lot of extra time to commit? Consider signing up for the Angel Program.

This program provides assistance to families within our school who are facing challenges. When staff identifies a family in need—whether for clothing, household items, or other essentials—the Angel group is contacted with the details. Members may then choose to contribute as they are able.

Calling all Grand Ridge thinkers and writers! ✏️💡

Before students write this year’s WSPTA Essay Contest entry, they get a chance to help choose the theme itself. Washington State PTA is asking students: What would YOU love to write about?

Theme ideas are due October 12 at 10:00 PM.

When completing the form, use Grand Ridge Elementary PTSA #2.6.10.

If a student’s theme is selected, they could receive a $25 Amazon gift card and recognition at the WSPTA Student Programs Celebration.

When Washington State PTA advocates for students and families, that work doesn't begin in Olympia. It begins at Legislative Assembly.


This year, PTA delegates from across Washington will help shape WSPTA's advocacy agenda as they:

✅ Vote on the 2026–2028 Legislative Platform
✅ Identify WSPTA's Top 5 legislative priorities
✅ Consider 2 proposed resolutions for addition to WSPTA's permanent platform


The decisions made at Legislative Assembly help shape the advocacy work you'll see throughout the year—including Focus Day, testimony before lawmakers, and meetings with legislators.


🗳️ Only delegates vote at Legislative Assembly. Talk with your PTA president about representing your PTA. You don't need to be a board member to be a delegate and students can be delegates too!

Register TODAY for the Issaquah Schools Foundation Monster Mash 5K!

Bring the whole family out to the Lake Sammamish Boat Launch on Saturday, Oct. 24 and enjoy a morning filled with fun, fitness, seasonal spirit and lots of raffle prizes. Enjoy a flat course great for running, walking, pushing a stroller and more. Represent our school with spirit wear or show up in costume. The elementary school with the most participants will win $500 for the school!
