As we step into 2026, I’m taking a moment to reflect with deep gratitude at what an incredible year it has been.
The Year of the Horse reminds us to have strength, resilience, and forward movement. The qualities that feel especially meaningful as we look ahead to the future.
I am incredibly thankful for all the parents and students who have trusted, supported, and believed in this journey of learning with me. Your commitment, encouragement, and support are the heart of everything we do at UEMA. Every lesson learned, every milestone reached, and every moment of growth is something I don’t take for granted.
The Horse also symbolizes determination and momentum and as we go into 2026, I’m excited to keep moving forward together with purpose, confidence, and care. There is so much to look forward to, and I’m grateful to continue this path alongside such an amazing community.

Summer Camp 2025 Week 6: Final camp of the year has now ended. It was an absolutely incredible summer of fun, learning, and adventure. We had the most incredible campers that were not only respectful, but hard working and worked well with each other. Enjoy the rest of your summer and we will see you next year!

Summer Camp 2025 Week 5: We are down to the last week of camp. School is just around the corner. Another great group of campers this week. This week was the Eagle form, Bow and Arrow completion, bag jumping, went to the museum of flight, and went to Snoqualmie Falls and stopped for some soft serve!

Summer Camp 2025 Week 4: Where is summer going? Its hard to believe 4 weeks of Summer Camp are over. Another great group of campers this week. This week was the Crane form. Even the little guys worked hard on learning it. We also added Dart throwing, balance sparring, went bowling, and hiked to the largest and oldest Douglas Fir on Tiger Mountain by way of the Swamp Monster trail! Not a bad way to spend a week!

Summer Camp 2025 Week 3: Three weeks of camps and each one was amazing. This week was Praying Mantis form and Staff practice. We also had an extra special field trip with some of my favorite martial arts instructors for a day at Lake Sammamish!

Summer Camp 2025 Week 2: Another amazing week of camp has ended. The summer is flying by and its been a blast! Last week the kids learned the Tiger form and this week they learned the Snake. Looking forward to next week and even more fun!
