Summit Classical Christian School exists to assist faithful parents in educating their children to the glory of God in the discipline and instruction of Jesus Christ in an atmosphere of love, humility, and joy. We aim to instruct young men and women using the classical approach of developmentally-appropriate curriculum so that they may know wisdom and gain understanding, discern biblical

truth from falsehoods, and cling to that which is right. We will assist in maturing them to become socially graceful (respecting elders, authorities, and peers) and spiritually gracious (displaying grace, mercy, and kindness). We will prepare students to compete academically, think critically, and weigh society’s moral and cultural relativism against what they have learned. We aim to graduate young men and women who are equipped with superior knowledge and understanding in all the scholastic disciplines in light of God and His truth. We also desire that they would be empowered to pursue further scholarly endeavors or vocational opportunities always desiring to grow in wisdom and understanding. Ultimately, we believe the education of children is essential to accomplish the Great Commission which is to go out and make disciples of all nations. We desire that they would have compassion for the lost and the courage to share their faith in Jesus Christ. In who they are and all that they would do, we pray that these young men and women would do so with all eagerness, gratitude, and humility in joyful submission to God. Staff
We aim to develop and nurture a professional, disciplined, and faithful staff that is well compensated and diligent in the disciplines of a classical and Christian curriculum. We desire that they possess a lifelong hunger to learn and grow and that they have opportunity to be refreshed and renewed. We desire to see them coach and nurture new staff and serve as academic mentors to students. We desire them to be professional and diligent in their work, loving God, teaching, and their students. We look to see them maturing in their knowledge of Christ and expect to see their children faithfully walking with the Lord. Parents
We aim to cultivate in our parents a sense of responsibility of involvement for Summit, to keep them well informed about the goals of our classical and Christ-centered approach, and to help them follow biblical principles in addressing concerns and other matters at Summit. Community
Finally, we aim to be an integral and active member of the greater Snoqualmie Valley community; to be above reproach in our business dealings, to develop greater fellowship and understanding with local churches, and in all our endeavors to bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ.

UPDATE: School cancelled, Thursday, Jan. 18th.

We have families in our community that continue to have unsafe road conditions, including obstructed roads from fallen tree limbs/branches due to ice. Many families within the Snoqualmie Valley and Riverview districts are without power. Due to these variables, we made the decision to close Summit for the safety of our students, staff, and our Summit community in the affected areas.

We understand this may be an inconvenience for families. Please email [email protected] with questions.

Donations to the building campaign have been coming in the last few days, both cash and Semble. One was a penny, found by a Summit kindergartner, who rather than keeping it, donated it. At the end of last school year, this campaign’s first gift was $1.10 from a student. Our God multiplies. Let’s keep going, in faith.
