This kid! I am so proud of her! She worked hard and played hard this summer! Serving goodies with a sunny smile, o can’t tell you how much it means to this mamma that she’s surrounded by an amazing community of people!
AND She attended school online to get some credits out of the way, just a macro economics class…🤦🏻♀️
AND She finished her yoga certification program (that she started in February because she needed more to do)
AND She went backpacking with .richter.pnw Bill and .b333 …
AND now she’s onto the next adventure.
Sophomore year….the best because you know the drill bit the classes aren’t THAT hard and serious yet!!

Parenting with Kristen is about supporting, encouraging and inspiring parents to empower their children to become kind, peaceful, passionate human beings. We help you to create a kind and firm approach to parenting, setting expectations, limits and freedoms in an environment of mutual respect.
I believe that we all want the very best for our children, and while this looks different for different families we all have our own unique path. When it comes right down to it, all parents want the same things for their children. They want them to be kind, passionate and successful.
I provide live, in-person, 5-8 week courses for parents through the Issaquah, Maple Valley and Renton areas. I use the Positive Discipline techniques mixed in with my back ground in Montessori, to provide a fun, though provoking course. I am passionate about growing a community of parents who come together to give each other support, ideas and encouragement. Being a good parent takes courage, perseverance, and dedication and community support is critical.
If you have children and are at the end of your rope with back talk, constant bickering and arguing among siblings, the endless nagging to get homework and chores done, OR you are cruising along fine with your child but worry desperately about their growth into adolescence; AND you want to find a kinder, firmer and more democratic method of parenting, then this community is for you.
