Whatever is going on, it’s okay. It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out. It’s okay to wonder and question yourself wtf am I doing. Give yourself permission to feel a little “lost.” Most importantly, allow a bit of compassion. Aside from everything else going on remind yourself that you’re fckin brilliant and amazing!⚡️💛

This is a gentle reminder to SMILE BIG!
Smiling relieves stress, elevates your mood, makes you feel GOOD and it’s contagious!!
Lately one of my favorite moments to smile is on the elevator. I know, sounds weird BUT it makes the “ride” less awkward and more enjoyable.
Really, any chance you get be interactive with others and less submerged in your phone, headphones or butt.

I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you
For most people, family gatherings during the holidays are rarely stress-free. Feeling stressed is considered “very normal” considering the complex structure, dynamic personalities, or family history. Perhaps that picture perfect happy nuclear family is hard for some to imagine. Maybe traditions have clashed- divorced parents, remarriage, blended families. Maybe differences set them apart- not sharing the same beliefs and moral or religious and political views. Maybe it’s unseen like deeply rooted emotional bonds that have been pasted through several generations. What ever your family history may be, your not alone.
There are steps you can take to mitigate stress and reduce the temptation to act without love and compassion. In truth, we are ALL accountable for our actions onto ourselves and others. Growth stems from acknowledgment. I find applying the ho’oponopono mantra (mentally or verbally) to the chaos of my mind and emotions has brought me awareness.
Right, any reconditioning of the mind and behaviors takes time. You have to be persistent with patience. I’m not a master and have much growing to do but I will only succeed if I exercise my mind.
I hope some of you found this useful. If your familiar with this mantra - share your experience and thoughts. With so much love and gratitude, wishing each of you a Blessed Thanksgiving 🙏🏻💛✨

Have you ever wondered why back bending is a challenge for most practitioners? Perhaps including yourself.
Have you ever thought about where our emotional body resides within? If not, give yourself a moment to feel into it. Take a few deep breaths, sit with yourself, and scan.
Did you feel it within your head, chest, gut, or a chill up your spine? And if not that’s okay.
Back bending is a journey. A journey into the center of yourself. The emotional body is located along the spinal axis.
While stretching and creating space within the front body, you are simultaneously strengthening the back body. You wonder how this relates to your emotional body?
As I see it, we are creating space to feel into and through the emotions that exist. Emotions of love, desires, fears, or trauma. To reinforce a better understanding of the energy we’re holding onto and if we’re ready to release and overcome. Having a strong back body supports this. It’s the strength within that aids a calm, equanimous, and nonjudgmental mind. Therefore, we can feel into the experience without identifying.
Want to learn more? Join me this Saturday 1:30pm for healthy back bending as we move collectively towards our center.
