Our farewell:
Kids Day at the Park Saturday September 15, 2018. Thank you for standing in long lines waiting patiently in the sun to ride Chuggabug train. We love and appreciate you! It is because of you, this event is great. It is because of you we brought our Chuggabug train to this event over the years. Unfortunately and sadly to say, this was our last time to participate at this event. =(

I was asked when did I get interested in trains. I always answered, "on my first school field trip to the train station," but that isn't quite right. After giving it more thought, dusting out the cob webs, I recall a time when I was playing with trains long before then. In fact I had swallowed a tiny toy train piece that got lodged and I couldn't breathe. I was gasping for air and panic set in with those around me. Mom had my sibling try to reach in and get it out, but it was only pushed deeper causing more problems. Mom laid me down on the back seat of the car and proceeded to race me to the emergency room; 17 miles away. I would have died long before reaching the hospital. By the grace of God, mom ran over a bump and low and behold the tiny toy train piece dislodged allowing me to breathe.
Please parents take the time to learn First Aid and CPR for infant, child, adult. You never know when it will come in handy. Preparedness is the key to save a life. Thank you for your time. 💕

Son Steve spent over 2 weeks in the hospital after having a very difficult complicated massive surgery. Now home recovering. It is going to be a very long tough road ahead. Once he recovers from this and regains strength, they will start him on chemo therapy for about 6-8 months. In the meantime, he is unable to work. So we have set up a GoFundMe account. I am asking everyone I know, family, friends, clients, business associates and strangers to help him. Insurance does not cover 100% and the bills are piling up beyond what any average wage earner could possibly repay.
