Ok local friends please spread the word and share my post. As most of you know I am a school social worker and some of the ways I help my students are with nature or art. So this summer I have found an indoor space in McHenry to teach some workshops for kids. My first workshop day will be Thursday June 6th. I will offer a Fairy Garden Workshop at 10:30am for ages 4-6 years old and a tween/teen paint your emotions workshop on canvas for 11-13 year olds at 12:30 pm. Please message me for details and registration fees. I look forward to this summer we are going to have a lot of fun. I will be offering one adult workshop later in the summer.

Hi Friends I miss all your smiling faces and I’m planning on teaching a canvas painting class on zoom next month for kids. Only Local Kids so I can deliver supplies. Please let me know if interested. If you are not local you can do a porch pick up at my house for the supplies. Adults are welcome to take the class but keep in mind it will be something simple that kids like. since Covid is on the rise again We will be home more so I will be offering zoom classes. I am still determining the price.

If I teach a workshop I will have an assistant and 8 kids. I’m thinking parents will need to sit away from the group and siblings will have to stay by their parent if they are not part of the class. I used to have parents participate but things are different right now. I would do my best to set the kids up 6ft apart. They will be asked to wear masks as my assistant and I will be wearing one. Let me know if you think you would still send your 4 to 8 year old to my workshop?
