Performed in the Janmashtami Event organized by Indo-American Festival Team.

The most heart touching moment for a teacher is when her students go beyond her expectation and surprise her with an outstanding performance 😍

I knew when I prepared them for the competition, they will perform their best but winning 1st prize and getting so much appreciation from the audience was something else, a feeling hard to put in words ❤️😍

Each Performer, put in so much hard work and days of practice. And sometimes life throws you challenges that you cannot be around in person to witness your wins and share it at the very moment.

Though I was not present physically that day with team but my mind was only with them until they came back home safely and happily with the Award that truly was deserving for their performance, dedication and enthusiasm.

I was sleepless that whole night while I was in India cheering them and wishing them all the best.

Though I did share few pics earlier about the win, but till now I was not able to share the winning performance with the world and today on this amazing International Dance Day, I share with you all this most unforgettable and amazing performance by my Team which I will always cherish in my lifetime😍

Lessons learnt were many that year '2023'. Challenges will keep coming but never give up or lose hope.

The same year we performed Ghoomar many times with different set of participants, sometimes 3 or 4 or 5 to 7 and changing the choreography for every performance was not just fun but challenging too as most of the events were back to back but we did it and it was possible with commitment and hard work from each and everyone.

I was proud of each of them and wish them success every time in their dance journey or anything they want to achieve in life.

Thanks to the organizers, Pratibha Nichakawade for the wonderful opportunity and the Judge Sandip Soparrkar sir for the Award 😊🙏
