Registration is required. To register, please reply with your full legal name (which will be put on your certificate) and your e-mail address.

1st you will get a confirmation email from me with links to get your handouts normally provided at our “in person” classes and an attachment for the class application.



2nd you will be sent another confirmation email from Pat Moore to explain how to log into the “zoom” meeting online, this will include the meeting ID and password. Most of the class is about the laws and responsibilities of carrying a firearm for personal protection.



3rd you will need to come to our home in Isanti for the range qualification. After the online class has been completed, we will work out the scheduling to comply with social distancing.

At that time, I will take your completed application and your fees, then I will give you the certificate that shows you attended the class.

Participants are expected to bring their own pistol (should be about the size and caliber that you intend to carry, usually greater than .22 caliber); 20 rounds of ammunition; hearing; and eye protection. (To keep our neighbors happy, no magnums please)



This class is for both first time permit applicants and renewals.

Our classes are recognized by the Minnesota BCA and will qualify you to apply for a Minnesota permit to carry.



Check your expiration date on your current permit to carry card. Don’t wait until it’s about to expire. The certificate from taking the class is good for 12 months. If your card is going to expire in less than a year, take the class now.

You can take the class up to 12 months before renewing.
So, if your permit expires anytime in 2018, get the class done now.
