Just a little about our program at Mrs. Kari’s Daycare and Learning!
This program is designed for full-time children. The core of our preschool program runs from September through the end of May Monday-Friday. (We enjoy the summer months June, July and August with fun summer themes and activities! We explore the outdoors together with daily summer fun lessons!) I focus on many different development skills throughout our day. I have designed my curriculum/program to introduce a variety of developmentally appropriate subjects, life skills and learning experiences that will allow your child to grow, learn and explore! Each month is organized around our focus learning topics/themes for that month. We begin to learn how to recognize colors, shapes, upper/lower case letters, numbers, patterns and more. This program also encourages and teaches little ones independence, team work, and the meaning of respect to others and themselves. I use pictures to help with language skills and vocabulary understanding of how this world works. This helps children understand all the why or what questions they may have. This will help build your child's social & emotional growths such as better behaviors, sharing, taking turns and cooperative play. My goal of this program is to provide your young learner with many opportunities to help develop all their childhood milestones! This will help build a firm foundation to develop the love for learning and to be lifelong learners! It is very important to me to build a positive relationship with open communication to all parents. I have established and will only promote healthy parent partnership to work towards bridging the gap between home and school for your child. Parents are involved in their child's day to day learning and activities. The beginning of each month parents receive a monthly packet with materials of our upcoming month. Parents are kept informed of their child's daily and long term progress!
School-age Program: Before and after school, Non-School days/breaks, and Summer! Isanti Schools bus pickup and drop off available. Age level activities, materials and lessons are planned and provided for this age group! During the school months homework time and or help is also provided if needed. I have also designed this program to introduce a variety of developmentally appropriate subjects, life skills and learning experiences within there age level that are fun and challenging as well that will allow your child to continue to grow, learn and explore at there age level!
