Paraprofessionals are essential members of our school community who support teachers, provide additional guidance and encouragement to students, and help ensure that the needs of our school are met each day. Their work may sometimes happen behind the scenes, but their impact is seen and felt throughout our building.
We are proud to recognize our very own Mrs. Gledia Larkin as the WCMS Paraprofessional of the Year! From FCA to math classrooms, from afterschool activities to the community, you can always find Mrs. Larkin serving our students, supporting our staff, and making a difference wherever she is needed.
Teachers wear many hats. They are educators, mentors, motivators, planners, problem solvers, encouragers, and so much more, all while working each day to create meaningful learning experiences for students.
We are also proud to recognize Ms. Gabrielle Cabiness, 8th-grade social studies teacher, as the WCMS Teacher of the Year! Ms. Cabiness works hard to make Georgia History relevant, integrated, challenging, and engaging for her students. From planning field trips to developing meaningful lessons and everything in between, she consistently goes the extra mile to create opportunities for her students to learn and grow.
Warrior Nation, please join us in congratulating Mrs. Larkin, our Paraprofessional of the Year, and Ms. Cabiness, our Teacher of the Year!๐๐
