The Teen Advisory Board put in a long day working on a haunted house that will be open to the public later this month. The teens took a break and went to Pizza Ranch for lunch and then had to make a stop at Bomgaars where they found wax bottles candy to enjoy on the way back to Irwin.

The League of Human Dignity will be at the Lied Irwin Public Library on Thursday, October 8 at 10:00 am to visit with anyone who may have questions or could benefit from their services.

This is especially a great opportunity for veterans and for family members or caregivers who help care for an older adult or someone with a disability. The League can provide information and assistance with things like housing, employment, community resources, and living more independently.

We had a small, but lovely group at B.Y.O.B. last night. We enjoyed hearing what others were reading! Our next adult book club is Oct. 27th at 6:30pm, discussing Gitchie Girl.
