Monday, October 5th: 8am-2pm
Wednesday, October 7th: 8am-2pm.

All veg are $2 a six pack, $16 for a 36 count tray.
Collards - 60 trays available
Cabbage - 10 trays available
Kale - 5 trays available
Spinach - 5 trays available
Cauliflower - 30 trays available
Broccoli - 30 trays available
Mustard - 8 trays available
Butter crunch lettuce - 5 trays available

Today we installed our scarecrow at Bellingrath Gardens & Home. (AND did a quick tour of the unbelievable rose garden and conservatory 🤩). We do not put up a traditional scarecrow, even though those are great! The horticulture program students come up with several ideas and vote on the theme. The Manufacturing students cut out the design with their CNC machine, then the horticulture class finishes up with paint and whatever else they want to go with it. The electrical program provides the tools and training to attach the design to the T-post. This year is Bigfoot! Collaborative projects for the win at Bryant CTC.

Today we are competing at the Fall FFA Eliminations for Land, Forestry, and Livestock. Thank you Poarch Creek for hosting us in Atmore at Perdido River Farms! Thank you, also, to NRCS and Alabama Forestry Commission for running the Land and Forestry competitions. These kids are gaining skill and confidence by just participating.
