The NFF is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of 2004 NFF College Football Hall of Fame inductee Dick Strahm.
Strahm led the University of Findlay Oilers to four national titles while winning 73.6% of his games.
"Dick Strahm devoted his life to developing young men and building a championship culture at Findlay that left a lasting mark on college football," said NFF Chairman Archie Manning. "His extraordinary success with the Oliers and his impact on generations of student-athletes are forever immortalized in the NFF College Football Hall of Fame. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, former players, and all who were fortunate enough to know him."
NFF Hall of Fame Coach Dick Strahm Passes Away at 92 - National Football Foundation
Dick Strahm, a 2004 NFF College Football Hall of Fame inductee who coached at Findlay (OH) from 1975-98 while leading the Oilers to four national titles, passed away June 9. He was 92.

The NFF traveled to Stephenville (TX) High School last month to formally present the Yellowjackets with the 2025-26 NFF Hatchell Cup Presented by Bob’s Steak & Chop House.
Stephenville claimed the honor in February as the top high school football team in the nation for their combined achievements.
The Yellowjackets posted a perfect 4.0 GPA while completing an undefeated 16-0 season and capturing the Texas Class 4A state championship.

Randall Cobb is on the ballot again this year for the College Football Hall of Fame.
Cobb is one of 80 players and nine coaches from the FBS nominated. The announcement of the 2027 NFF College Football Hall of Fame Class will be made in early 2027.
