Our students are finishing up testing this week as they work toward becoming FAA Certified Aircraft Dispatchers!

We’re proud to have students representing the United States, The Bahamas, Nigeria, South Korea, and Mexico. 🇺🇸🇧🇸🇳🇬🇰🇷🇲🇽

This class also had a great representation of veterans and active-duty military members, bringing their dedication, discipline, and experience into the world of aviation.

Today, our IFOD day class had the privilege of welcoming Juan Manuel Casanova, who shared what a day in the life of an Airline Dispatcher truly looks like. Students gained valuable insight into the responsibilities, decision-making, and teamwork that go into ensuring every flight is planned safely and efficiently.

Juan also discussed his book, Your Flight Begins at My Desk, reminding us that every successful flight starts long before passengers board the aircraft. As the book highlights, every flight begins with careful planning, preparation, and the professionals working behind the scenes.

Congratulations to Alejandra Hernandez, who earned the highest score in the day class and was awarded a signed copy of Your Flight Begins at My Desk.

What an amazing way to kick off Summer 2026! 🎓✈️

Congratulations to our first graduating class of the summer. This class brought together aviation professionals and aspiring dispatchers from across the globe, including students from the Philippines, Hong Kong, Poland, Norway, Japan, South Korea, and Kuwait.

We were honored to have students from organizations such as NATO, Jet Aviation, Envoy Air, Southwest Airlines, CathayPacific and Navstars training alongside one another as they worked toward earning their Aircraft Dispatcher licenses.

We’re also proud of our CBT students who joined the class and successfully completed the program, earning their licenses as part of this graduating group.

Seeing individuals from different countries, cultures, and aviation backgrounds come together with a shared goal is what makes aviation such a unique industry.

From scholarship recipient to Airline Dispatcher in record time ✈️

When JuliAnne Miller was awarded the ADF/IFOD Scholarship, she took the opportunity and ran with it. Starting in our CBT program, JuliAnne showed determination, discipline, and a passion for aviation every single step of the way.

After completing the online portion of training, she joined us for in-person instruction where the hard work truly paid off. Long study nights, practical prep, weather charts, flight planning, and teamwork all led to one incredible moment — earning her Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate. 👏

But she didn’t stop there…

Immediately after completing training, JuliAnne accepted a position with Allegiant Air and officially launched her career in airline operations.
