Holy Family Catholic Academy is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Angela Mastantuono as our new Principal, effective July 1, 2026. Born and raised in California, Dr. Mastantuono brings more than 20 years of experience in Catholic education, including extensive service in schools within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
She has served as a teacher, department chair, dean, vice-principal, and principal, and she holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, with research focused on the relationship between social-emotional learning and academic achievement. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to Catholic identity, academic excellence, and the formation of the whole child. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
Dr. Mastantuono has a proven record of transformational school leadership, including significant enrollment growth, strengthened academic programs, revitalized arts and student-life initiatives. She also has experience in both International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement instruction, bringing valuable expertise to HFCA’s IB mission.
Known for her collaborative spirit and her ability to build joyful, mission-driven school cultures, Dr. Mastantuono looks forward to partnering with our families, faculty, Parish, and students as we continue to grow as a Christ-centered, globally minded community.
