This Mother’s Day, Irving ISD honors the care, strength and dedication of the mothers and mother figures who support our students and staff every day. You deserve your flowers, and we appreciate you today and always! 💐❤️

Happy School Lunch Hero day to our Lively cafeteria staff who serve our students with love each and every day.

Also, please congratulate our cafeteria manager, Alpha Orduno, for winning the Irving Independent School District School Lunch Hero of the Year award! Congratulations Mrs. Orduno and you make us so proud!

Lively will be hosting a snack and drink drive for Teacher Appreciation Week! We invite families to sign up to donate items using our SignUpGenius link. More information can be found on the page once you click the link.

Teachers will come by on a designated day to select snacks and drinks to help keep them fueled throughout the week. The drive will run from April 15–29. Thank you for supporting our teachers!

We can’t wait to see our families tomorrow at our Cereal with She-Roes event! We will provide assorted cereals for you to choose from along with a serving of milk for students to enjoy with the superwoman in their life. Doors open at 7a with the event ending at 7:30a. See you there!

¡Estamos deseando ver a nuestras familias mañana en nuestro evento "Cereal con She-Roes"! Ofreceremos cereales variados para que elijan, junto con una porción de leche para que los estudiantes disfruten con la supermujer de su vida. Las puertas abren a las 7:00 a. m. y el evento termina a las 7:30 a. m. ¡Nos vemos allí!

Congratulations to the Lively T.I.E Club for receiving a grant from the Irving Schools Foundation to fund more dress shirts and ties. Today four T.I.E. Club members presented how to tie a tie in front of the ISF board and truly shined. We are so proud of our Eagles and huge thanks to Mr. Judge, Mr. Huber, and Mr. Villanueva for volunteering their time to our students!

Introducing our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year, Veronica Mendoza and our 2026–2027 Staff Member of the Year, Carmina Anrubio! 

These ladies were voted on by their colleagues and make a huge campus wide impact at Lively Elementary. We are so proud of you!
