Real quick question for you on this Friday: What do you give a kid who loves to learn?
...More ways to learn, of course. 🧠📖

For Life Scout Clovis H. from the California Inland Empire Council, more learning has meant college classrooms, world travel and S C O U T I N G.

At 15, Clovis has already earned his second college degree. He’s planning to study drone development and autonomous systems, pursue aerospace engineering and earn his pilot’s license.

But since first grade ( families, we're looking at you!), Scouting has given Clovis a completely different place to explore.

He’s camped. Hiked. Learned outdoor skills. Earned merit badges. Served his community. Trained for a 50-mile bike ride. And now, after completing his service project, Clovis is awaiting his Eagle Scout Board of Review (BOR). And after his BOR, Clovis will continue to reach new heights, consume more knowledge and experience fresh adventure in Scouts.
..See, that’s just one of the things we love about and our programs: There is always something else to discover.

Your child doesn’t have to know today what they want to become tomorrow. Give them opportunities to try things, get outside, meet people, serve others and find out what Scouting is all about - just like Clovis.

Reminiscing on our two weeks at Jamboree!🥹

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who formed a part of our experience! From the volunteers who spent countless hours coordinating every minute at our tent all the way to all the Scouts and new Eagles who stopped by made everything exceptional! ⛺️ This experience would not be possible without our Scouts!! See you at the next one!!!

service projects challenge young leaders to think outside the box, take initiative and bring the values of the and to life.

Check out how Jacob from Troop 107 in Corona, California, successfully restored a 1960s Fairchild SD-5 Osprey for the March Field Air Museum (with the help of his volunteers, of course!). Built to gather battlefield intelligence, the unmanned aircraft never made it to production after the U.S. Army commissioned it in 1960 – as March Field notes, this is the ONLY remaining prototype known to exist. Talk about a historically significant project from this California Inland Empire Council !
