Lots to do this weekend at Evangola State Park! Enjoy a Classic Car Show by the beach parking lot Saturday at our "End of Summer Car Show". Everything from Beach Treasure Hunts to Tree ID workshops and tagging butterflies happening Friday thru Sunday with a sunny forecast!

The Evangola Nature Center is open Wednesday thru Sunday 10am to 4:30pm so come check it out! This weekend we offer a "Nature Center Scavenger Hunt" and an exciting "Bald Eagle Hike". Take a guided tour of our beautiful freshwater marsh with a variety of wildflowers, butterflies, frogs and birds. As always the Evangola Nature Center and programs are free!

The weather is expected to be great for a weekend of free activities at Evangola State Park! Participate in a nature center scavenger hunt and then search for beautiful butterflies this Friday. Enjoy the natural sand beach here with our popular sandcastle contest on Saturday and we will have plenty of buckets, shovels and molds to loan! Explore a lakeside trail on Sundays Bald Eagle hike where we often spot eagles! The Evangola Nature Center is open all weekend and is always free of charge so come and join the fun!

Learn about Patriotic Park Critters! Take a bike ride through Evangola and learn about "secret natural spots" and the history of the park. Lots to do in and around the beautiful Evangola Nature Center!

The Evangola Nature Center is now open 12pm-4:30pm Fridays thru Sundays! Educators Matt and Sydney have set up displays and activities and have developed a center that is bright, welcoming and clean. Come check it out and as always the Evangola Nature Center is free of charge!
