Semper Altius Spotlight, celebrating Highlands alumni who are living out our mission long after graduation.

This month, we proudly recognize Chris McNichol, Class of 2022, co-founder of the Saint Steps App, a faith-based platform dedicated to helping men pursue lives of greater purity, virtue, and authentic masculinity through Catholic formation and practical habits rooted in the wisdom of the Church.

At The Highlands, we strive to form young men and women who know, love, and serve God by serving others. Chris exemplifies our core values as a Missionary Disciple and Servant Leader. Guided by a desire to help others grow in character and faith, he and his team created a platform that now serves thousands of men around the world with encouragement, formation, and support.

Today, Saint Steps reaches users in more than 70 countries. Through its stewardship program, the team also provides free access to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it, ensuring more men can receive the formation and support they need.

Rooted in Christ and always striving for Semper Altius, he uses his gifts to help others grow in virtue and strengthen their relationship with God, demonstrating how a life of faith, courage, and service can make a lasting impact far beyond one’s immediate community.
