The chapters of Area IX (Epsilon Tau Lambda, Eta Gamma, Pi Alpha Lambda, and Pi Omicron) came together today on the campus of Prairie View A&M University for the IGNITE IX Area Retreat. Sessions were designed to challenge, equip, and inspire the Brothers as they begin the new fraternal year. I had the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion on the partnership between collegiate and alumni Brothers.

Congratulations to Area IX Director Bro. Adrian Carter, chapter leadership, and the planning committee for their vision in creating a meaningful experience for the Brothers in attendance.

On August 6, 1965, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law - opening doors that generations had fought, marched and sacrificed to reach.

Today, we honor that legacy with action. As for me and my Brothers, WE VOTE.

We are joining Freedom Rising 2026, a nonpartisan statewide movement working to educate, equip and mobilize Texans to participate freely and fully in our democracy. Visit freedomrising2026.org.
