Thank you to all of our LCCA families who stopped by and spent the evening having fun with us! 💛 From games and puzzles to bracelet making, laughter, and lots of family time, we loved seeing everyone come together and make special memories.

Events like these are about so much more than just having fun—they give us the opportunity to strengthen the relationships that make our LCCA community feel like a family. 🥰

🎨✨ Learning Their Names, One Dot at a Time!

Our Pre-K friends had so much fun practicing their names with a colorful twist! Using paint and dotters, the children followed the letters in their names, turning name practice into a hands-on art experience. 🖌️🌈

Name recognition is such an important part of early literacy. Activities like this help children begin to recognize the letters that make up their names, understand letter formation, and build the connection between written letters and something meaningful to them—their own name! 💛

And there’s even more learning happening! Dotting along each letter strengthens fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, visual tracking, and concentration—all skills that help prepare little hands for future writing. ✏️

The best part? To them, it’s not a worksheet or writing practice. It’s painting, creating, and having fun! That’s what learning through play is all about. 🥰

LCCA families, clear your Friday evening because it’s time to play, laugh, and make some memories together! 💛

Join us this Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM for an evening of family fun! We’ll have board games, puzzles, bracelet making, family games, and plenty of opportunities for children and grown-ups to play together. 🧩🎨🎲

At LCCA, we love creating opportunities for our school family to connect beyond the classroom. Family Game Night is all about putting the phones down, picking up a game, sharing some laughs, and enjoying quality time together. 🥰

Who says learning the alphabet has to be worksheets and pencils? Our newest blog post shares a simple, playful letter activity that helps children explore the alphabet while building letter recognition, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early literacy skills.

Bingo dotters are just the beginning! Children can fill the letters with stickers, pom-poms, cotton balls, playdough, and more—giving families lots of ways to use the same activity while keeping it fun and engaging. 🙌

🏡 Families: We also share easy ways to extend the learning at home using materials you may already have.

Sometimes the best part of the day is simply getting outside. 💛

Our littlest learners love soaking up the sunshine, feeling the fresh air, watching the big kids play, and taking in everything happening around them. ☀️🌳 Even for our infants, outdoor time is full of opportunities to explore, observe, and experience the world around them.

Tiny toes, sunny days, and lots of little discoveries—that’s a pretty good day at LCCA. 🥰

PLAY WITH US WEDNESDAY 🚲✨

We’re starting something new at LCCA! Every Wednesday, we’re giving you a little peek into the things our kiddos love to play, explore, and experience throughout their day. 💛

For our very first Play With Us Wednesday, we’re starting with an LCCA favorite: the tricycles! 🚲💨

Indoor or outdoor, the tricycles are always a hit. Give our kiddos some space to ride and they are off—pedaling around, following their friends, laughing, and enjoying every minute of it!

But those little rides are about more than just having fun. As children pedal, steer, stop, and maneuver around their environment, they’re strengthening their gross motor skills, coordination, balance, spatial awareness, and confidence. They’re also practicing social skills as they play alongside their friends, take turns, and figure things out together.

These are the everyday moments we love at LCCA—the ones that may look like “just play,” but are filled with learning, friendships, independence, and lots of happy childhood memories. ❤️💙💛

Whether your family is currently part of LCCA, has been part of our school family in the past, or you’re just getting to know us, we hope you’ll follow along each Wednesday to see what our kiddos are playing next!

Muffins with Mom was filled with sweet treats, big smiles, and so much love 💕🧁

We loved getting to celebrate the amazing moms, grandmas, aunties, and special people who help our little learners grow every single day. Thank you for taking the time to join us this morning and make special memories with your children. These moments matter, and we are so grateful to share them with our LCCA families. 🌸✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible women who love, nurture, support, and guide our children each day. Your kindness, patience, and unconditional love help shape the hearts of our little learners, and we are so thankful for everything you do. 💗
