Nostalgia is a powerful emotion, and partaking in things that you used to enjoy during a more carefree part of your life could help bring you joy and comfort.

This week, do something you enjoyed doing as a child. Riding your bike, doing a cartwheel, playing catch, playing cards—whatever it is, go out and try it!

Also, think back to meals, snacks, and treats that you enjoyed as a child. Recreate those meals for yourself and prepare them as you would for a child, with love and care.

If your closet is filled with clothes that you don’t like, are damaged, don’t fit your body, or just don’t bring you joy or excitement, that can be a real bummer.

This week, purge at least a portion of your closet (like your sock drawer) of clothes that are just taking up space so that you can make room for better things in the future!

Create a mantra for yourself. Consider your goals for the next day, week, month, or even year and come up with a phrase that will help you feel motivated to stay on track and make real change. Here are some examples:
