Last weekend, middle school students from across Texas participated in the Junior Youth and Government State Conference, held in Round Rock and at the Texas State Capitol.
Students took part in youth Senate sessions, committee hearings, and the governor’s cabinet, learning firsthand how civic leadership works. Of the 344 students statewide, 213 were from the Dallas area.
