This month, we’re celebrating the father figures who encourage us to just go for it. Taking a leap of faith in the blue-collar world isn’t always easy, but we’re thankful for those who push us to chase our goals, work hard, and believe in what’s possible. Happy Father’s Day to all the mentors, role models, and father figures who help us keep moving forward!

At TWS, nothing beats seeing our students succeed — especially the smile that comes after a perfect bend test! 🔥💪
Moments like these are what TWS is all about: building confidence, teaching valuable hands-on skills, and preparing students for a successful future in the trades.

At Tulsa Welding School, it’s not just about learning a trade — it’s about building confidence. 💪
Instructor Dave does an amazing job giving constructive feedback that helps our first phase students grow and believe in themselves. Many students have never touched a welder before day one, but our instructors take the time and patience to make sure everyone has the opportunity to succeed. 🔥

🎉 Congratulations to our welding instructor, Jordan Frye! 🎉
Outside the classroom, he enjoys building and repairing PCs and playing Texas Hold’em. He’s passionate about teaching and helping those eager to enter the field. His advice to students is simple:

“Keep showing up. We all have bad days and days when we aren’t feeling it. If you don’t show up, you don’t learn. Don’t quit; keep progressing and moving forward.”

He describes himself as goal-oriented, a perfectionist, and dedicated. At the end of the day, Jordan doesn’t just teach welding, he helps build the persistence and confidence that students carry long after they leave the classroom.

Join us in giving Jordan well-earned kudos for the positive difference he continues to make!

The skilled trades industry is facing a major shortage, and our veterans are uniquely equipped to fill that gap.
From welding and HVAC to electrical and construction, so many military skills translate directly into high demand careers with great pay and long term stability. It’s amazing to see more conversations happening around giving veterans clear pathways into the trades after service.
Blue collar careers keep America running, and our veterans deserve every opportunity to thrive in them.
