Right Now Media is an awesome tool for Biblical teaching and resources for adults and young people. We are looking forward to using these resources during chapel at VOD Christian Academy. Parents will be able to choose the content that they wish for their children to explore.

Teachers and students need to be in peaceful environments. Sorry, but this should not be happening in your child's classroom, or in the hall.
Parents really need to know! Some parents already know because these are the things which are happening at home also.
So, this is a message for the parents who are saying no to this type of environment.
Parents, you have a choice.
Schools have a choice.
Everytime I see this video, it reminds me of the reality that teachers face on a daily basis.
Don't believe me? Show this video to your child. I promise they will name who the children are in their classes who act just like this. Funny, but not funny!
But who knows? They probably think this is normal behavior.
At VOD Christian Academy, we recognize that there will be students who need modifications and accommodations. If your child has a learning disablity, no problem. This just means that we will all work harder to help them to exceed expectations. If your child is developing, then they are on their way to proficiency.
Our goal is to fill in the missing gaps, and build foundational skills. We want to meet your children where they are. The diagnostic tests provided in the beginning of the year will allow us to place your children in modules according to their individual ability. They will never feel shame because of working behind or ahead of their peers.
We want our students working on the highest levels which they desire to reach. Within one year, students will be at accomplished and distinguished levels, when they work hard and apply themselves.
We don't give answers. We set goals which are achieveable. Your children will learn. We set them up for real success.

Enough is enough. While we really can't control what happens in someone's home, there are some thibgs that we can control happening in our schools.
In order to win, basic principles need to be taught at both home and school. When the same standards are expected, success is achieved. It's really not rocket science.
