CAMBP OC Bee Team - Irvine Hub Founded in 2016, the OC Bee Team is a science-based teaching apiary at UCANR’s South Coast REC in Irvine.

We had a great workshop today, with a wonderful group! We inspected a colony that seemed to be doing well. However, it was decided to feed it some sugar syrup 1:1 and a 1/4 lb of pollen patty because we observed that the larvae could "swim" in more royal jelly. It has been a hot, and dry summer. Helping your bees along is a good thing! Thank you for coming!
