Our mission is to support service members, veterans and their families in pursuing their academic, professional and vocational goals by providing academic and financial advising, and professional, personal and spiritual resources. Aside from striving to be the most military friendly university, VRC serves as the liaison between the student and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Although our office works to ensure that Department of Veterans Affairs regulations are satisfied, we have no authority to make judgments regarding benefit status. Only the Department of Veterans Affairs may determine the eligibility of individuals for veteran educational benefits and to approve the payment benefits. Concordia University Irvine encourages thoughtful discussion, debate, and interaction among social media users. User comments are not screened prior to being published within the public forum. Because of this, Concordia University Irvine would like to remind its users of a few simple guidelines:

Voicing opinions, complaints, or disagreements with another is accepted, but we ask that you do so in a constructive manner. Obscenities, personal attacks, threatening, harassing, or abusive content, and defamatory comments about any person, group, organization or belief will be deleted. Concordia Veterans Center was so thankful to be joined by Wellness Center at Concordia University Irvine and Concordia University Irvine Admissions in attending the Veterans Health and Wellness Conference. This is such a great event each year and we are so thankful for all the work and preparation that goes in to putting on such a great opportunity for training local care providers to support the veterans they work with.
