What does “me time” look like at the end of the day? Many women report to me they enjoy scrolling on their phones because it relaxes them and it’s the only “me time” they get all day.

We’ll make ethics fun! There’s debate on whether or not BCBAs should program for sleep…it’s a good question!!
The answer is MAYBE.
Ethical blind-spots and programming without knowing fully how sleep works can inhibit excellent programming!

A lot of kids hate going to bed. The simple (average) verbal cue of “time for bed!” is enough to elicit all the groans and moans at almost any age. (I’m looking at the adults now👀)
Caregivers often approach their ABA team for support with bedtime resistance. Shaping the bedtime routine is 1000x easier than shaping bedtime behaviors😉
