New Horizon Irvine

Last month, a group of our Middle School students proudly launched Kalimat, their poetry journal, in a special event attended by family and friends. The launch was a wonderful opportunity for students to share their original work, reading selected poems aloud and reflecting on the inspiration behind their writing. The journal showcases the creativity and developing voices of our young writers, celebrating the power of language and self-expression. 📝

The project was led by Mr. Neil McCarthy, whose guidance, encouragement, and dedication helped bring the journal from concept to publication. Through his leadership, students gained valuable experience in the writing, editing, and publishing process while developing confidence in sharing their work with a wider audience!
