Today, Governor Newsom and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Thurmond announced that all California schools will remain closed to students through the end of the 2019-20 school year, as a result of increased COVID-19 cases throughout the state.

After careful deliberation, IUSD has made the decision to close all IUSD schools and facilities effective Monday, March 16 with an anticipated return date of Monday, April 6. For important information related to these closures, visit iusd.org/COVID19, which includes Superintendent Walker’s most recent update.

💥CELEBRATE UNI’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY!!💥
Join us for a special evening on Friday, March 6 featuring a screening of Skid Row Marathon. The documentary follows the journey of an unlikely running club started by Judge Craig Mitchell, one of University High’s original students in the class of 1974. Inspiring and moving, the film addresses many powerful themes including hope, friendship, and the power of second chances.
Following the screening, Judge Mitchell will share his experiences and answer questions from the audience.

We have a very special guest speaker, Dr. James Tobin. James Tobin, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist based in Newport Beach. His clinical practice consists of individual, group, and couples/family therapy, with an emphasis on interpersonal patterns and relational dynamics that obstruct one’s access to truth, fulfillment and intimacy.
