🏳️‍🌈 QTTEA First Meeting this Monday 🏳️‍🌈

This is a reminder that Q***r Talk: Educators Enabling Action (QTEEA) will be hosting their first meeting: Monday, October 21st, 6-7:30 PM @ CalTeach Office

⭐️ Make sure to sign up by scanning the QR code on the flyer (this is the updated QR code which should now work)
⭐️ If you can't make it in-person, no worries! There is a ZOOM link for those who cannot attend in person. You can find the ZOOM link through the same QR code
⭐️ This is a great way to meet others, build a community, engage with q***r topics, and discuss how they relate to educational issues

If you would like free Math tutoring this quarter, our amazing math tutor Nicole is available!

💛 Please see her drop-in hours down below and/or reach out to her via email to schedule an individual appointment.
💛 This is located in-person @ CalTeach office!
💛 Look through the flyer to check out the classes Nicole tutors! She can help you with concepts, quiz preparation, homework assignments, etc.

💵 JOB OPPORTUNITY - A C.A.R.S. SCIENCE TUTOR 💵

CalTeach is now hiring a CARS (College Access, Readiness & Success) tutor for Leuzinger High School! This job is 3-4 hours of ZOOM Tutoring per week, M/Tu/W/Thu from 3:30pm - 4:45pm (must be free during that time, days flexible)

We had a fantastic time celebrating with games like lotería and pin the tail on the donkey, enjoying delicious food, and exploring Latina culture. It was wonderful to connect with both new and returning students from all the cohorts!

‼️ AIF: CalTeach @ Anteater Involvement Fair TOMORROW ‼️

Hi everyone! I hope you are very "zot zot" for the start of week 0 tomorrow! Tomorrow, Monday, September 23rd from 11 AM - 4 PM @ Booth F225, CalTeach will booth at the Anteater Involvement Fair (AIF)

🩵 UCI's AIF is where students can check out all the UCI clubs and programs offered at Aldrich Park!
🩵 Are you interested in becoming a math/science teacher? Please stop by our CalTeach booth to learn more about our program! You can ask questions, learn about the courses offered, or come by to say hi!
🩵As mentioned, our booth will be at F225. Feel free to check out the map attached to see where it is being located.

🍁NEW EVENT: CalTeach Fall Welcome Event! 🍁

The CalTeach Program will hold a welcome/open house event during Week 1: Wednesday, October 2nd from 2-5 PM @ the CalTeach Office! This is a great opportunity to connect with students and staff, meet our NEW director, and check out our office!

This event is separate from the CalTeach Fiesta happening Monday of that same week. So if you missed the event happening on Monday, come by Wednesday as it will be just as exciting and lively!
