For nursing students, there is a moment when the journey stops feeling theoretical and starts becoming real.

At Westcliff University’s College of Nursing, that moment came during New Student Orientation, as BSN and Entry-Level Master’s students gathered at our Corona campus to meet their cohorts, connect with faculty, receive their schedules and prepare for the transition into Core nursing courses, simulation labs and clinical experiences.

For many, it was also the first time putting on the scrubs they’ll wear as nurses in training, a simple moment that made years of preparation feel tangible.

Behind every student is a different story and a different reason for choosing nursing. But across both orientation days, one thing was clear: they are ready for what comes next.

The first chapter is complete. Now, the real work begins.

Our hearts are with the people of Nepal following the devastating flash floods along the Trishuli River.
We are thinking of the families who have lost loved ones, the communities facing displacement and destruction, and our Westcliff students, faculty and partners who may be personally affected or worried about those they love.

Nepal is an important part of the Westcliff family. Through our partnerships with King’s College and Presidential Graduate School in Kathmandu, we are connected to a community of students, educators and partners who call Nepal home.

While both campuses are outside the areas directly impacted, the people in our community have family, friends and loved ones across the affected regions. We stand with them during this incredibly difficult time.

Today and in the days ahead, we stand with Nepal — with care, compassion and hope for the communities working to rebuild. 🇳🇵

STUNT and cheerleading may share the same athletic foundation, but they’re two different sports. Cheer brings performance, energy and crowd engagement, while STUNT puts athletes head-to-head, where precision, ex*****on and teamwork decide the winner.

Now, Westcliff athletes can compete in both.

We’re excited to welcome STUNT to Warrior Athletics and give even more student-athletes the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.

Westcliff University officially has a freeway sign in Irvine, and we couldn’t be more excited to see our name up there.

Since 1993, Irvine has been home to Westcliff. From our beginnings here to the global university we are today, this community has been an important part of our story.

Now, thousands of drivers will see our name as they travel through the city we’re proud to call home.

It’s more than a freeway sign.
It’s 30+ years of growth.
It’s thousands of students and alumni.
It’s the dedication of our faculty and staff.
It’s a milestone for our entire Westcliff community.

Today marks an exciting milestone for the Westcliff University community!

We are proud to officially welcome Pacific College to the Westcliff family, bringing together two institutions with a shared passion for education, innovation, and preparing graduates to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

For 33 years, Pacific College has built a respected legacy in nursing and healthcare education across Southern California. Its expertise now joins Westcliff's global perspective, culture of innovation, and growing commitment to healthcare education.

The timing could not be more important. California is projected to need more than 61,000 additional registered nurses by 2033, highlighting the vital role higher education plays in preparing skilled healthcare professionals.

Building on the momentum of Westcliff's College of Nursing, we are excited about the collaboration, ideas, and possibilities ahead as we welcome Pacific College into our academic community.

Two wheels. One big milestone.

For the riders at this year’s iCan Bike Camp, learning to ride meant more than a new skill. It meant freedom, confidence, and independence.

For the fourth year, Westcliff University sponsored the camp alongside Rady Children’s Health and iCan Bike for approximately 40 children with disabilities and their families.

More than 100 volunteers showed up to run alongside riders, celebrate their progress, and cheer them on.

That’s a wrap on an incredible week! 🚲

Five days of riding, cheering, high fives, new friendships, and BIG milestones at iCanShine Bike Camp!
We watched riders push through challenges, build confidence, and make progress toward something that once felt impossible. And alongside them were our amazing Westcliff volunteers, celebrating every breakthrough, and forming bonds that made this week so special.

Today was all about celebrating how far everyone came. From first tries to riding on two wheels, every accomplishment was worth cheering for.

We’re so proud of every rider and incredibly grateful to our volunteers, families, iCanShine, and Rady Children’s Health - Orange County for making this week one to remember.

From the U.S. Army to startup founder. 🇺🇸➡️💡

After six years of military service, Phu Do wasn't just looking for a degree, he was looking for the right place to build his next chapter.

At Westcliff, he balanced graduate school with launching his own tech startup, found mentors who believed in his vision, and discovered a community that supported him every step of the way.

His journey is a powerful reminder that leadership doesn't end when military service does, it's just the beginning of a new mission.
