Anastasia graduated from The Harker School and Bayer Ballet Academy where she studied Vaganova training from Inna Bayer and numerous well-respected teachers in 2018. She performed a number of lead roles in her time there. She was invited to join Atlanta Ballet II at YAGP when she was 17, and she joined the second company for two years. She was promoted to the company as an apprentice after her second year with the second company. She has been fortunate enough to perform in numerous company productions during her time as a second company dancer as well as an apprentice. She is also currently studying psychology online at UF to get her bachelor’s degree (and someday her masters or PhD).

Karney is a 3rd year Public Health Policy major at UCI and is currently striving to become a physical therapist. Her favorite styles of dance are contemporary, jazz, ballet, and urban. Before coming to UCI, Karney was a competitive dancer for 5 years at her local studio including Trouble Makers for a brief time. As she moved away from the studio life, she has continued to explore her movement patterns to solidify her dance aesthetic. She is very excited to teach and hopes to see everyone there!

Jeevika is a dancer and choreographer who aims to explore the confluence of her cultures through her art. Her training has been in Odissi, an East Indian classical dance form, under the guidance of Guru Jyoti Rout. She is a graduate of UC San Diego, where she studied Mathematics with minors in Linguistics and Dance, and dabbled in several other Indian/western dance forms, including Raas, Garba, Bollywood, Bharatanatyam, Bhangra, and Contemporary/Modern. Currently, Jeevika is working as a math teacher for elementary to middle school students, and will pursue an MFA in Dance from UC Irvine this fall. Her choreography is best described as "Indocontemporary," drawing from various classical techniques and applying them in a modern context. She is very excited to teach with Bare Bones Dance Theater and hopes to share her joy for dance to Irvine and beyond!

Hi all! My name is Ari Pine and I am a second-year Dance and Language Science double major here at UCI. My favorite styles of dance are contemporary and hip hop and I absolutely love combining the two together in my choreography focussing heavily on musicality. My class for Bare Bones will do just this with some fun storytelling added as well! I look forward to moving with you all!
