We have an amazing guest speaker today at the Psi Beta meeting: cognitive psychologist Dr. Donald Hoffman from UCI! His research combining cognitive psychology, evolutionary psychology, robotics, mathematics, and quantum physics has brought him to some very interesting conclusions about your perceived reality. IT'S AN ILLUSION! To get a taste of what he has to say, read this recent interview with him: https://www.quantamagazine.org/20160421-the-evolutionary-argument-against-reality/

He also did a TED talk last year if you want a little more (and maybe want to think of some good questions for him): http://www.ted.com/talks/donald_hoffman_do_we_see_reality_as_it_is

All are welcome so if you want to come, his talk today is at:
Irvine Valley College
BSTIC 103
12:30 - 2:00 PM

It's time for some mind expansion!

The cognitive scientist Donald Hoffman believes that evolution and quantum mechanics conspire to make objective reality an illusion.
