The Assistant to the General Manager works directly with the General Manager. S/he is responsible for maintaining the General Manager’s schedule, meeting notes and debrief.
Assistant Competencies And Skills
Proficient speaking, reading and writing in Mandarin and English preferred
Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft office. (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Multi-tasking within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Familiarity with Chinese/American organizations a plus
Experience working in a culturally diverse environment
Assistant Major Responsibilities
Assist in preparing materials in English and Chinese (including translation when needed) for General Manager with Head of Department meetings and visits
Answer the General Manager’s main line; direct calls accordingly, maintain a daily call-log, and follow-up to ensure timely responses. Maintain updated contact information.
Liaise internally and externally in the provision of support assistance to departments. Support business-related projects, Assist to monitor the planning and implementation of business initiatives to all functions.
Collect, consolidate and analyze data; maintain business database and assist to prepare various reports for management.
Qualifications

1.Meet/exceed annual sales goals.

2.Identify and engage prospective clients through research, direct approaches, attending conferences, recommendations, and other methods to target potential business.
