Immigration Awareness Week 2026 Recap🦋

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared space, and built community with us this week. From our Migrant Storytelling Support Circle, to our powerful Policy in Higher Education Panel, to our screening + discussion of Expanding Sanctuary, each gathering reminded us that our stories, voices, and collective action matter.

We are deeply grateful to our collaborators (MEChA, Anakbayan, CDUCI, SJP, BSU, SFS, and Resist U.S. Led War) and to every student who participated with vulnerability, courage, and care.

IAW was more than a series of events, it was a space for healing, learning, organizing, and strengthening solidarity across immigrant and mixed-status communities.

The work continues. The conversations continue. The community continues.💛

Thank you to everyone who showed up and showed OUT at our “Immigration is a Human Right” rally and march. ❤️‍🔥

Your presence, your voices, and your solidarity made this day powerful and unforgettable. We came together to honor the resistance and intersectional experiences of immigrants, because our stories matter.

We didn’t cross the border, the border crossed us.
Somos más y seremos aún más.

Thank you for standing in the community and reminding us that when we protect each other, we all rise. ✊🏽
